Customer Service Assistant (REF:BAR013)
Salary: £10,949.80 / £12 per hour (£23,151 pro rata)
Hours: 17.5 per week (see working pattern below)
Location: Barnstaple Library
Closing date: 9am on Monday 25th November 2024
Interview date: Monday 2nd December at Barnstaple Library
Working Pattern
Week 1
Monday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Tuesday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Thursday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Friday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Total: 16 hours per week
Week 2
Tuesday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Wednesday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Thursday: 10am – 2pm (4hrs)
Saturday: 9am – 5pm (7hrs)
Total: 19 hours per week
Weekly average hours: 17.5 hours
We are looking for an enthusiastic people focused person to join our customer service team at Barnstaple Library. The successful candidate will deliver a friendly, proactive, and responsive frontline service, ensuring the best possible customer experience for all.
The successful candidate will take an active part in delivering a wide range of services and supporting a variety of events and activities including leading our monthly Audio Book Group. We are looking for someone with good digital skills and a love of reading who will enjoy working with people of all ages.
